Welcome to the Gamma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity at Auburn University. Sigma Chi is a brotherhood with roots in the collegiate experience that evokes a lifelong commitment to strive to achieve true friendship, equal justice, and the fulfillment of learning as part of our overall responsibilities to the broader communities in which we live. Our brotherhood consists of men with different talents, temperaments, and convictions who share the common ideals of the Jordan Standard. We achieve these ideals through the practice of character qualities embodied by the Spirit of Sigma Chi, and continuously reaffirm our purpose through the observance of Sigma Chi's governing laws and through adherence to the decisions of our legislative assemblies, which empower and direct our leadership.
College is an impactful time and marks the inception of life away from home. While college lasts but a moment, Sigma Chi lasts forever; the bonds and friendships made through Sigma Chi are for life. A brotherhood over shared ideals far exceeds a brotherhood over common personalities, and our seven founders established that a principle-driven lifestyle holds paramount in an individual's quest for progressive development. As a fraternity we are committed to the betterment of our members, our campus, and our community.
If you are interested in rushing Sigma Chi, please contact our Recruitment Chair, Peyton David, and check our Recruitment page for a calendar of upcoming events. All alumni wanting to contact or reconnect with Sigma Chi, please contact our Pro Consul, Richmond Maddox. Sincerely,
